Little Treasures Children's Centre

Little Treasures Child Care Centre was established in 1991 out of a Christian concern to provide good quality child care services. It is run by Westcliff Elim Christian Centre. As a natural extension to this our out of School Care Services were established in 1995 in response to community needs. Then in April 2005 we embarked on the journey to become a Children's Centre.

Being a Sure Start Children's Centre is an extension of our services for the wider community and we want to reach families who come from all walks of life and provide services that are accessible and benefical.

Our Aims

• To provide warm and consistent care within a safe, secure and caring environment with highly qualified and motivated staff.
• To treat all children as individuals and with equal concern and respect.
• To provide a stimulating environment which encourages the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of each child.
• To work in partnership with parents to provide high quality and consistent care for each child
• To have all staff work within a framework of equality
• To be sensitive to the needs of the children and encourage their development through a planned, exciting curriculum catering for individual needs with freedom to explore

All our activities are registered with and approved by OFSTED.

What We Do

Children's Centre Services: All services are provided for children under 5 years and run throughout term time. (See latest news for Up and Coming Events)

Day Nursery: Provides child care for up to 42 children from Birth to 5 years. Open 8am to 6pm (special arrangements available 7.30am - 6.30pm). Full day, morning and afternoon sessions available.

Pre School Learning Centre @ St Andrews:A sessional group for 2-5 year olds with an educational focus for up to 24 children

We are registered to provide free government funded sessions. In the Childcare building we have a range of different session that are supported by the free entitlement that can either be stretched funding or term time only.

 At Little Inventors in the main hall, our funded sessions run on Monday & Friday 8.00-2.00pm and Wednesday 8.00-11.00am these sessions are free of charge for all children the term after their third birthday until they enter school term time only.

Out of Schools Care: Provides child care for up to 36 school age children up to 12 years.

After school:Children are collected from school and looked after until collected. Finishing time 6pm. Activities and snacks are provided

Holiday club: programme of activities for children 4 to 14years. We provide care for all the school holidays, incorporating a wide variety of outings
